Instructions

Note: please create read-only API keys, except where specifically noted in the instructions.

1. Log in to your Kalshi Account by navigating to https://kalshi.com/ and logging in with your Kalshi account credentials.
2. Click the menu icon in the top right corner and select "Account & security" in the navigation menu.
3. Scroll towards the bottom and click "Create Key" under the heading API Keys.
4. Add a nickname for your api key.
5. Check "Read only". Do not check "Read/write".
6. Click "Create" to create the API key and copy the API key id and Private key.
Important: The private key is shown only once. If you don't save it, you'll need to create a new key.
7. Paste the API Key ID in API Key and Private Key in Secret Key into Star and click "Connect".
